AIO PUMP VS W PUMP

Go to solution Solved by airdeano,

the use of AIO use less amperage to start/run over water pumps (custom loops DDC pumps)

yes, you can plug an AIO into either header, DDC only in the W_PUMP+

Hi, I’m just looking at the asus X370-F motherboard and apperantly there is an AIO water pump connect and a W Pump connector ( I assume that means water pump connector). It says that the W Pump is 3A and AIO pump is only 1A does that mean I can plug the AIO pump cable to the W pump connector?  Why do they have it anyways?

Alright thanks. One last question, my aio pump header is a 3 pin one but my motherboard only have 4 pin headers, are they still compatible or do I have to look for a aio with 4 pin connector? @airdeano
