well, freesync and 144hz is on the "gaming" monitor.

Ok the gaming monitor is ips right also i heard that using adaptive sync is bad is that right?

No, it's not bad, you need an AMD card to use Free sync though.  What card do you have in your system?

Uh..... you need a new GPU to take advantage of a monitor like that.  You won't be able to push enough pixels to play games at 1440 144hz.

You mean that i wont be able to play paladins at the best settings with a 1080 at that resolution also fortnite.Jk for the 8800.Also is Adaptive sync same as free-sync

Not sure what you mean there.

No you won't be able to play fortnite at best settings at 1440 with an 8800.  Not sure about Paladins, but probably the same.  8800 is too old.

Here is some good info on display technologies for frame rates in gaming.
