Router thru pc?

Is it possible to have a router/modem thru my pc? I would like to see the network usage/traffic going thru my router

Most good routers have a way to monitor traffic going though them, so this isn't a great idea.

Got any good routers that can do that? i would like to see what device it requesting what (i'm a privacy nut and paranoid that someone might be on my network)

up to $150? can that Ubiquiti router monitor the taffic?

Normally this solution works better as you can put your wifi where it wants to go(normally celing, and the rotuer where the cables wants to go.

I'd rather not get a AP. I'd prefer a router/modem of some kind?

Routers (even the one provided by ISPs in modem+router combo) always (all that I've had at least) allow you to see which devices are connected to your network.

I can see who's connected but i would like to see how much bandwith/traffic what devices are using
