What do I really need???

So I'm currently saving up for a PC I am going to build myself. I don't really want to overclock or anything like that and I am not going to be playing any FPS's like COD or Overwatch. I am mainly going to be playing games like total war or Civ 6.

There is a lot of different specs and I am wondering how much do you really need?

Main thing I am intresetd in is if CPU's make huge differences.

Do you care about future proofing? Because from the games you want to play you don't really need such a big budget.

No they dont usually, graphics card has the most, ryzen 3 is a great choice though
