PC won't post on restart.... sometimes.

Hi all,

 

I recently built a new pc with a fresh install of windows and it runs great. However, sometimes when booting or restarting the PC won't post, and all the fans run full blast, but the monitor shows no signal. Pressing the reset button on my case always fixes this. I can't seem to figure out what the issue is. I tried reseating the ram, and I have all the latest bios and drivers, to no avail. Please help me with this problem.

This happend to me a couple of times before.. It could be a virus or your gpu could be over heating. Make sure you have you gpu with direct fan contact and the thermal paste is on. Another suggestion take out your gpu see if your pc runs with plugging in the HDMI in the motherboard and not gpu see if it works if it does it is most likely your gpu. GOOD LUCK...
