The problem I'm having right now is that for some reason my computer is restarting alone.

At first I thought it might have been because high temps on cpu or gpu, so I downloaded msi afterburner, ramped up the fan to 100 on the gpu, and checked the cpu temps.

Cpu was below 60, gpu was below 65.

The only thing that I can think off being the problem is the power supply but im not really sure.

The times it crashed were once playing csgo yesterday.

But most notably are the 3-4 times that this happened to me in the past 2 hours playing Mu Legend (1080 full hd graphics) and I also had google chrome open.

I was alt tabbing to check the temperatures, but i dunno what could be causing the problem.

I tried disabling the autodriver update from windows 10, and I just took off the auto restart when the OS thinks something is wrong so if it restarts again it might have to be a hardware problem.

My system specs are:

Windows 10 pro 64bit (non-activated)

CPU: i5-8600k stock

Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S

Mobo: Z370P D3

Ram: 8gb ddr4 2400mhz cant remember if crucial or corsair

Gpu: Sapphire r9 280x trix vaporx

Psu: Tacens mars gaming MPII 650w

(BTW, i used that psu on my old rig that had a fx8350 and same gpu and had no problems)

Crappy PSU is a huge red flag. Look into replacing it regardless.

New Build (The Compromise): CPU - i7 9700K @ 5.1Ghz Mobo - ASRock Z390 Taichi | RAM - 16GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200CL14 @ 3466 14-14-14-30 1T | GPU - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 TI | Cooler - Corsair h100i Pro | SSDs - 500 GB 960 EVO + 500 GB 850 EVO + 1TB MX300 | Case - Coolermaster H500 | PSUEVGA 850 P2 | Monitor - LG 32GK850G-B 144hz 1440p | OSWindows 10 Pro.

Peripherals - Corsair K70 Lux RGB | Corsair Scimitar RGB | Audio-technica ATH M50X + Antlion Modmic 5 |

You might want to replace that PSU.

I've never heard of the brand, but I wouldn't expect it to be any good.

I used that PSU with a fx8350 and it didnt give me a problem.

Anyway last friday I ordered a new psu just in case. Its a corsair cx750 80 plus bronze. I hope that fixes the problem. Otherwise I will try reformatting to see if that fixes it

You mean PSU?

That means practically nothing honestly, I've had PSUs die on me overnight.

That is a decent improvement.

I can just about guarantee that your problem will go away once it's installed.
