Tech Opinion needed

Hi guys, I have an Acer Nitro 5 with an AMD FX 9830p with an rx550 with 4gb of ram. During gaming I tend to experience micro stutters and freezes, especially prominent during csgo. Would adding 4gb of ram help me solve this? Also, I know my CPU isn't the greatest but just how much is it holding back my GPU?

I found the leap from 4gb to 8gb fairly substantial so maybe
