Hi,

a year ago I disassembled my Graphic card (R9 270) and cleaned it thoroughly with a brush,(I touched my Metal case's panel a few times before all of this while placing the card in a safe environment)

Now after all of that I placed it back into my computer, and after all of that it is not sending out a signal nor being detected by my system, but its fans still spin normally like it used too, I tried countless things, but alas nothing worked, hence I left my system as it is and tried to bear with the Intel HD 4400 basic graphics,

now with a bit more information about computers in general, I would like your help too see and rule out if my PCI-E slot is dead or my card

as of now I cleaned the Card's PCI connectors with a earbud wet with Isopropyl alcohol, and then dried it with another earbud and then left it to dry for a bit as an extra precaution,

then I took another earbud and removed the cotton on one of its tips, hence revealing a thin plastic end, which I then inserted into the PCI-E slot and then took out, I repeated this several times till I covered the whole slot to ensure there was no bent PCI pin, and if so, It is bent back into position,

I then took a piece of paper, rolled it into a cylinder to blow into my PCI-E slot to ensure no dust remains inside

then I used my camera's zoom option with a flashlight to see if it is burnt or has any dust remaining, so far I see nothing

This card came along my system in a DELL XPS 8700 desktop

The cpu is i7 4770

16 GB DDR3 ram

460W Dell power supply

thanks in advance

-Ali
