AW2518H vs PG258Q: Which is better?

CyberFern0

With a 1080 I would skip both and get a 1440P, that's just me though - 1440P is definitely the sweet spot on my rig - you could even grab the 25" Dell Gsync 1440P (wish i had due to pixel density - i would have preferred the sharper image over the extra size)

I wanted a cheaper option, and is 25” 1440p even worth it. I already have a 4K 28” monitor to do everything else on. This one will be for FPS (competitive Overwatch, Battlefield 4, Destiny 2, and later, Black Ops 4).

That's why I asked if size is important for it. As I said I would prefer the higher pixel density vs the extra 2" screen - I currently have a 27" Gsync RoG swift, great monitor.

If you have a rig capable of pulling 240FPS (or 144FPS +) in those games, grab the 1080P as you said, I would grab the Asus as I don't like Alienware marketing

What’s wrong with their marketing?

Well, it’s $350 right now on Newegg, but I guess that doesn’t count.

Nah $350 is a decent deal, I normally see it overpriced.
