Need help

Hey guys, new to the forum, but have been watching the linus tech videos on facebook for a while now. starting this thread looking for help on fixing/upgrading my HP pavillion.

Ive had it for quite a few years now and it has been good to me for the most part. However, about a year and a half ago i noticed that it started to not perform as well as it used to.

So far i have done a full cleaning to remove dust and what not so it can properly cool itself, installed new ddr3 ram and added an extra 8GB on top of the original 4GB, installed a new Asus GeForce GT 710 2GB Graphics card. after each of these upgrades/"fixes" i noticed that it performed great for a few months, but after a while it seems to start getting worse.

so if anyone can help me troubleshoot this, the help would be greatly appreciated.
