Asus Driver Issue

Go to solution Solved by Randy R,

Have you run the installation by right clicking on it.. Run as Administrator?

Hi everyone,

So today I got my new laptop. It's an Asus ROG Strix GL703VD. When starting it, I noticed a lot of bloatware and Windows was not working correctly. Missing icons, programs not willing to start, etc.

So I decided to reinstall windows. I have Windows now totally up and running. But now the Fn keys no longer work. I know that I have to install the ATK package from their website, so i tried, but it fails to install.

I constantly get the error message that it could not create a key to a specific path (see image below)

Does anyone here know how to fix this? Because now I can't control turn off my keyboard lighting, since Aura also refuses to launch.

Thanks in advance.
