GPU Temp

P2g

Hello.

I use GTX 1070 TI, phanteks p300 case.

I have 1fan in the back and 1 in front.

The GPU temp is around 75C while gaming. And the glass panel is pretty hot.

Is this normal or the temps are pretty high?

Thanks

Nah, Crunchy Dragon was referring to the cooler on your GPU.

However, most air cooled video cards linger in the low to mid 70c range, or 80c range if they're a reference card.

That's not a bad GPU :)

Most reviews show that card sitting around 65c on full load.

However, those reviews are done on an open bench rather than inside a computer case. This will affect temperatures. Realistically, I'd expect that card to run between 68c and 71c at best, unless you have a fan blowing air directly on top of it.

In short, 75c is a little higher than what you could expect, but it's not bad. You can always either increase air flow inside your case, or increase the fan speed on the video card using MSI Afterburner if you wanted to lower those temps.

I'd worry about airflow in your case. Take the side of the case off and see if the temps drop.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
