Special notes:

  • It's gotta be cool, it can be loud, but cool is more important.
  • Gonna get a GPU later, when prices fall/ when a newer model releases- currently looking at a GTX 1050/ 1050 Ti
  • Going for Intel because the Ryzen 5 2400G is not powerful enough, and I don't want to buy a GPU now.

What do you guys think?

Not comfortable getting the key from Reddit, want the ultra-wide specifically for productivity purposes, and chose the case coz it comes with two optical drive bays (one can be converted to 4 SSD bays), has 2 white LED fans, and I specifically don't want a GPU now.

You should change the i5-8500 to the i5-8400, get slower ram and save money as intel systems don't really care about fast speeds

I forgot to mention, you should get a bigger psu just in case in the future you might consider a better graphics card and it will take more watts, try maybe a 550w-650w psu if you can fit into your budget.

you could get a cheap graphics card first like a gt710. find used if you have to.

That appears to be worse than even Intel integrated graphics.

1. you don't use a gt710 for gaming... its just for a display adapter.

2. userbenchmark is not a good source to see performance.
