Hi guys,

Im looking for a Type-C hub to connect my laptop with home setup, that includes:

2x DVI Full-HD displays (i have DVI to HDMI connectors aswell)

1x USB mouse

1x USB keyboard

1x webcam/microphone

1x ethernet cable connection (optimal)

and aux connection (optimal)

 

What would you guys recommend for this setup?

It sounds like you might be confusing USB Type-C with Thunderbolt. 

 

Theoretically you could buy a USB C hub and then buy 2x usb video adapters, a usb network card and a usb sound card, meaning you'd need a 6-port hub at least to hook all that up. But you'd be heavily limiting any kind of performance - USB 3 - which uses the A-type connector exclusively, and USB3.1+ which use the USB C connector exclusively - are only 5 or 10 gigabits each.

 

You'll be pushing the bandwidth of a single host port hooking all that up even to a 10gigabit port. 

 

Thunderbolt 3, by contrast, is basically "pcie express over a wire", uses the same physical USB C port, and pushes at least 40gbit/s of bandwidth, so you often get thunderbolt docks using a physical USB C connector which include display outputs, ethernet adapters etc.
