MRT-KB890830.exe

I have recently discovered multiple viruses on my computer. One file kept asking for permission to access my computer. Named MRT.exe with the filename MRT-KB890830.exe it stated it was from Microsoft and was a virus scanner and web searches prove that but the filename there (MRT-KB890830.exe) doesn't match that of google searches. Also, Microsoft wouldn't ask permission to access my device. Should I delete it? I have a bad feeling about it but in case it was something good I didn't want to screw it up. (it is next to files; MRT and MRT.exe in the sys32 folder)

Please help!

MRT files are Microsoft's "Malicious software Removal Tool" (MRT) and the KBxxxxxxx numbers are the version that has been installed. The numbers change as the updates are monthly, so may differ from Google results depending on the date of the results.

It should be ok, but keep your AV and Anti-Malware definitions updated and run checks regularly if you don't already.
