Question regarding AM3+ motherboard

So i was considering getting myself a new motherboard for my FX build.
Current i have the following.
CPU: AMD FX 8350
@4.0ghz (runs at 1.3V) default clocks
Mobo: Asus m5a97 le r2.0

With the current MOBO, i can't overclock my CPU, because the VRM's can't handle it. That is also why i put a fan blow air on it, which actually helped me get 4.3ghz out of my CPU.
No throttling, except when my room gets extra HOT which is quite rarely.

I was offered: GA-990XA-UD3 (rev. 3.0) Motherboard
Link to the motherboards site.

Is it worth it buying that motherboard to achieve better overclocks for the CPU? and more stable system. (Yes, it is used motherboard)
The old owner was using FX 8320 on that motherboard and achieved 4.7Ghz clocks with it stable.

IMO i wouldn't bother with am3+ unless that board is selling for peanuts. just use what you have now till you get enough for a newer CPU or used i7.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W
