RAM compatibility

Can someone help me understand if the below RAM is compatible with the MSI X470 Gaming Plus motherboard?

I have found a really good deal on this ram but it means buying 2 sticks of 8gb individually from the same place, do you think it will still run in dual channel?

It should work fine, don't see why it wouldn't work in dual channel.

One last question, do you think purchasing a faster set of RAM, for example, 3000mhz will improve Virtual machine performance
