My new Bluetooth keyboard is driving me crazy. It paired with my PC fine the first time I needed to pair it. I went into "add Bluetooth devices" etc and it came up on screen with a code to type in on the keyboard. I did that, hit enter, and the keyboard had paired.

But now when I try to pair it again I am asked to enter a code with no prompt as to what the code is. Windows seems to be assuming that I know what the code is already this time. There is nothing in the keyboard manual which gives such a code. The manual even explicitly says that when pairing windows should generate a code and display it for you to enter it on the Bluetooth keyboard.

I've tried "0000" and "1234" to no avail.

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know how to get around this?

Thanks.

If your bluetooth device has a pairing/discovery button/mode (instruction manual should be able to tell you how) that should bypass the request, just put windows into search mode threw the add bluetooth via settings.

It has a button. That's what I've been using to make it discoverable. I go into Bluetooth settings then add device. Then after I press the Bluetooth connect button on the keyboard it shows up on screen as a discovered device. I click on it to connect but then it asks for the code which I don't have and is not in the manual
