Nvidia Driver update turns off video card

I update my driver though Geforce Experience and restarted. Now my gpu is disabled. I tried to delete all drivers and let it reinstall them and it did not help. In device manger the enable/disable button says disable and is grayed out. Also the video card is displaying code 43.

I don't know what card you're using since you didn't specify, but I will assume it is a GTX 1060.

 

Before Windows starts booting, keep pressing F8 to access a menu and to initiate in safe mode.

 

Delete the display drivers with DDU and try this version:

One of the corrections is:

"After driver installation, Device Manager may report Code 43 error on a few GTX 1060 cards models." Pretty similar to your problem.
