Graphic card selection

Hello all,

i am having a though time deciding between a msi gtx 1080 gaming x and ASUS strix 1070ti . Both costing almost the same the 1080 hein 5$ costlier then 1070ti. Which one do I go for? And which one of this will be future proofed please help me make  This choice .

Or you wait until the new series of cards drops, supposedly this year, then we see prices on older cards drop probably.

Is the 1080 gamin x a good card tho? With two fans and performance wise?

1070ti and 1080 are 5% between each other when using the same clocks (OC potential is the same). For this price difference, the 1080 is a slightly better deal. I do like the Asus one's looks more though, so I'd still buy the 1070ti.

But due to double fans is there gonna be any heat if issue like compared to the three fans of ti. ??
