it will wipe the SSD/HDD. apply Win 10 64-bit. it will be a clean install of win 10. i am in the same boat as you. im re-doing my OS this summer as it is on my laptop

This. These are quite different architectures, only way to switch is via clean install.

thats what i figured out after some digging aswell. i was an idiot when i did the install. and that was a year......

The installer detects if there's another Windows already installed. You can select to keep files. They can be found on Windows.old folder. You will still need to reinstall all software.
