When doing this sort of task, I use the AOMEI Partition Assistant.  It works great and it's FREE.  You can use it to delete, create, merge, format, etc., and anything else I would use.

That disk was previously used to store Windows, correct? The best way to handle this is to delete the other partitions on the disk and then create one single, large partition that fills the entire drive. The recovery and EFI system partitions are not needed on that drive, as they were used to boot the windows install on there that no longer exists.

I assume you transferred to an SSD recently?

Hello whatdoiputhere. You will need to format using the CMD command. This will get rid of the unallocated space and will leave your drive ready to use in its full capacity.
