s8+ or s9+

I want to get a new galaxy phone but I don't know if I should use the extra money to buy an s9+. Is there enough benefits to fill the price gap or should I just get the s8+?

No, not really. Especially if you're getting an Exynos model, save your money and get some fancy bluetooth earbuds or something.

the S9+ is faster, but you won't notice that for at least a couple years since the 835 is a beast anyways (kinda like an iPhone 7 vs 8, the 8 is faster but you won't notice in day to day use), and has awesome slo-mo. Other than that they're almost the same AFAIK.

the s9+ fingerprint sensor is placed far better

Next month the S9+ is getting a significant storage upgrade, assuming you live in the USA.  I'd go with the S9+

I also would go for S9+, better longevity, because it is a newer model. Sounds ridiculous, but it is what it is with current gen of phones,
