So I have been having problems recently with my pc.. about two weeks ago, i installed a new power supply. it was from my dads pc and had been working perfectly, so i know its not faulty. around the same time, i figured it would be cool to OC my graphics card. i have a gtx 960. i went into afterburner and put +170MHz on the core clock and +500MHz on the memory. things were great, so i thought, but, after a week or so, things got weird. i started getting completely random crashes. no BSOD, no warning, it would just shut completely off. it only seemed to happen when i was playing borderlands 2. i thought it might be the OC, so i dialed it back to 150MHz core clock and +400 on the memory. everything was cool, continued playing BL2. the next day it did the random shut off again, but this time, after each shut off, it would progressively take less time before the next shutoff. like 45 minutes, 30 minutes, 25 minutes etc.. eventually it just wasnt doable, so i took off the OC entirely, back to default settings. that didnt help. but now i have a different problem, since now it doesnt shut off.. I randomly lose signal, and the monitors will say "Input not supported." that is what started happening today. at first, a restart would fix it for a bit, but now it doesnt even show me anything after the post and the initial windows loading symbol.. it will show windows repair, and occasionally it will boot into windows, but not for long.  twice out of the many restarts, it had very heavy artefacting. where half the screen would be fuzzy and the wrong color, and it would be very low resolution. is my graphics card dead? ill list my specs in case of any questions

take out the silver CMOS battery on your MOBO, it looks like a big watch battery for a few min then put it back ( do it when pc is off and unplugged) then put it back in and boot up and see if that helps

shortly after that last reply, it restarted and gave me the "input not supported" a few more times
