hi, so i purchased a fan system which is forced to always stay on , it sits under my gpu, it has a switch on the back to go from low to high, its super noisy at low,

my gpu runs at 130F (gigabyte geforce GTX 1050) when not gaming, by turnign this on its now at 102F non gaming, pretty huge improvement since my case has insane airflow, because its so noisy i dont want it on all the time, can someone link me to a ide power (molex i think its called) switch piece which i can controll via a wireless remote through the plastic window on my case? Thanks in advance :)

I think something like this would suit you better https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-System-Cables-Black-CPF04/dp/B00VNW556I/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1524779392&sr=8-8

Just plug it in to one of your motherboard's fan connectors and plug your extra fans into it, then you can control fan speed via software (speedfan for example)

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

actualy that wont help at all xD

i have my 4 case fans controlled by a screen on my case, the rest is controlled by the pc.. i have an external GPU fan which is  noisy arf, and i want to be able to wirelessly turn it on and off when i dont mind the noise with super gpu cooling (takes 30F off my gpu somehow) with out having to open my case and plug it in (its a pain since the door is warped and it came dammaged

You should still be able to control your extra fans via software, but if you insist on the remote you could try with this: https://www.amazon.com/RGBZONE-Remote-Controller-Dimmer-Switch/dp/B01GO5XRJ0/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1524780052&sr=8-14&keywords=remote%2B12v&th=1

It's designed for LEDs but it should work just fine for fans - you'll need to connect the cables to the right pins though

That is the fan i have

it powers with an IDE 4Pin power not a fan power plug since to controll the speed, it has a nob on it.. meaning it just wants standard 4 Pin power and nothing more

Your remote is your handy or pc.

If you want IR take a single color LED controller.

all i need is a way to controll an IDE 4 pin power (which is inside my pc) via a remote from outside my pc

or something on my pc either way
