Yesterday when i turned on my computer the power went out in my whole room. I figured there was something wrong with my PSU and i bought a new one today. Sure enought when i turn on my new psu the power doesnt go out but now my computer wont boot. I've taken everything out and installed only Mobo, CPU, RAM and PSU. When i try to turn it on CPU and PSU fans spin for about half a second then shuts off. Is there anything else i need to connect for it to boot? or is there something wrong with any other of my components? I have no clue how to continue troubleshooting as its been 7years since my last build. Any help is really appreciated :~)

Just mobo RAM CPU n CPU cooler to mobo header with the PSU should boot beyond 5 seconds. It is in voltage protection mode. you need to unplug psu from mobo and remove the battery for about 24 hours to ensure all current is gone. than try again. if that doesn't work try a different cpu cooler and a diff ram stick if you can.
