RGB strip

Go to solution Solved by NMS,

Hello and welcome to the forums!

And don't bother. For once, other than adding a capacitor there's really no way of doing that, and it's not quite safe. Chances are, you will fry the strip the moment system boots.

Just get a 12v strip and be done:) They're cheap anyways.

ok :( do you know if you can get a 12v addressable rgb strip

Pretty much any strip out there for computers (Corsair, CableMod, NZXT, etc). And as long as your motherboard has RGB control (Fusion, Aura, etc)

I'm sure you can find one for $10 where you are.

Make sure that strip is compatible with motherboard control software. It has to say on CableMod's website what software can control the strip.
