OK, so, I have this hp mini 110-hstnn-f05c that I have been working on for a little while and I have found a peculiar problem.

When the laptop is plugged in to the Ac adaptor with the battery taken out it works fine, but with the battery plugged in it gets stuck in a boot loop without anything showing up on the screen and the mechanical hard-disk I am using will not spin up with the battery in.

I am rather confused and would like some help. Any advice is accepted.

I have run memtest and the HDD self check test and they have both passed.

-Windows 7 home basic x64

-1gb ddr3 sodim

-250gb Seagate barracuda 7200rpm boot disk

If the fix requires a disassembly, that will be fine.

Either the AC adapter can't supply enough power anymore to power both the battery and system or the battery is simply shot and causing other problems.

Yeah, the problem with that is that I don't have any spare batteries or chargers.

But I might be able to find a spare charger from one of the people near me.
