Just got the echo, I'm looking for cheaper but quality light bulb solutions and smart plug solutions

 

Lightbulbs

I need the light bulbs to be multicolor, I don't mind paying a little extra for quality... But is phillips hue setup worth it? Are the other brands with no hub any good? 

 

Smart plugs 

Any good suggestions? I personally use two power strips for my desk computer setup... Is there any benefit j would get from using smart plugs in those locations? Just to be able to see power usage and turn the whole power strips on and off?

go on amazon and look up echo dot rgb bulb. take a look and pick one, read the info on it to make sure it does work with the echo and there you go. this is what you should do everything you want some cheap item ebay and amazon it for replica products for half price.
