Recommended Ram?

So I bought some ram for my PC (Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (1 x 16GB) DDR4-3000 Memory) To use in my MSI x370 Gaming Pro Carbon and it was giving my computer MANY MANY blue screens. So I traded RAM with my friend and it works 100% fine with my friends PC. So I don't know if its compatibility or not. I am currently using his RAM in mine and its fine, but its only 8gb. But I am going to buy new RAM for it and I want to know 100% that it will work. I am thinking of buying G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory    (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR) so I just want to know if it will work.

Typically higher ram speeds are less supported on the first gen ryzen chips
