Budget workstation- recommendations needed!

 OK everybody, here is the deal....  I realize my typical computer purchasing methods of checking my bank account then going to Best Buy or looking on craigslist for anything  available isn’t going to work for me this time.  I have been doing a lot more dedicated work on the computer then just random Google searches and YouTube videos  and I would like to build a PC to keep up with my needs.  Here’s the details: the computer will be used for:

50%- sketchUp

20%- Inkscape

20%- GIMP

10%- movie maker

(however I may be looking into more programs for design/gcode for my CNC)

I will be rendering home designs or custom furniture occasionally.

i’d like to start out under $500 (tower only)

i’ll  take recommendations of used parts I can scavenge as long as finding them for a decent price is realistic.  For extra credit I would be interested in recommendations to start out as well as which of the components should be first to upgrade when I have more money available.  Thanks in advance guys and let me know if there’s any info I’m forgetting to add!

Paul's hardware did a good 350 dollar build he upgraded to ~550 dollars. I'd recommend looking for that

I would wait a few days for Ryzen 2 as well.
