AMD and RAM

Go to solution Solved by iRileyx,

You should be fine as long as you're running the most up-to-date BIOS.

The RAM i'm using isn't on the QVL list for my board, but works fine with the 3000mhz xmp profile(actually runs a little higher at 3066 lol).

Do I need to have the exact same model of RAM so it can be compatible with Ryzen and have no head ache on trouble shooting it? In the store I saw the model number is F4-3000C16D-16GTZR a gskill trident Z ram kit and I went to check to the support page of the mother board which is the MSI B350 PC mate and the model of the kit is not listed in it. So should I look for the specific ram kit model or no?
