pc slows down when task manager isnt up

ok so idk what's wrong with my pc but whenever it's on normally it's slow like unusually slow but when i open the task manager and have it open in the background everything is back to normal and runs correctly games and all

Windows is messing with you. Show it who’s the boss by wiping it off your drive and install a Linux distro

I think that you have some crypto mining malware running that is turning itself off when you open task manager to avoid general detection.

 

Back up all critical files, drop the tactical formatting nuke and start from scratch.

it started randomly yesterday when i closed afterburner after launching overwatch so idk if that's the cause or what but i' downloading a anti virus rn cause windows didn't pick anything up

welp 2 mins in the scan and it already blocked something "generic bit coin miner" wow i hate miners even more >:( and can someone tell me how they did that so i can avoid this

Install an adblocker like uBlock Origin and install DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials or Ghostery.

You probably downloaded something that had it included in the download package.

Did you download anything right before the issue started occuring?
