Hi, how can I remove this piece of crap? It's not even coming up in my add / remove programs? :*(

Settings>On startup. I think. Is it an extension? Or a toolbar kinda thing?

It's not coming up in extentons or programs

 

can anyone suggest a good tool to get rid of it, one that doesn't ironically add more shit

Go to settings, then down to Search, you shoould be able to change it to google or whatever you prefer

 

it is already on google

 

I've tried all the basic stuff, I can't find it anywhere >:(

well yeah, I've managed to get rid of the bar, but the thing is still on my comp? I have used malwarebytes but can't find it in that.

I think I found it named as squeeky chocolate updater? 

 

it's the only thing that seemed odd on my comp, everything else in programmes was official (I only done a fresh install on monday see, so there's not much on here)

Did you use full or quick scan? Try full if you haven't already, and force it to check for PUPs (potentially unwanted programs) too.

Use Ccleaner an pcdecrapifier for cleaning. See if that helps.
