8700k is the obvious choice, the 7740x only has 4 cores with a higher cost overall.

no GPU? get an MX500 instead of the WD green ssd, and a corsair CX/coolermaster masterwatt instead of the strider plus.

i've decided to go with these main components Intel Core i7 + 8700K MSI Z370M MORTAR + Gigabyte AORUS GTX 1080 8GB  then work around the rest of the parts with my budget
