So I have AT&T broadband internet service right now and there routers SUCK, so apparently I need to still no matter what have the AT&T router in the loop of it... Which sucks Link. So I was looking at the WD MyNet N900 and the WD MyNet N600 mainly. So I have a broadband connection which is roughly 15Mbps Megabits. So what's a good router for me? I mainly game, and watch videos. Since my router supposedly 'has' to be apart of the whole setup the router  needs to connect via a regular ethernet port. So if anyone knows a great router under $100 USD please feel welcome to suggest it. AS long as it's an N router and can port forward.

Well the reason is that what ATT provides is a DSL modem / router combo, and that you're bridging a DSL interface to an Ethernet interface so a router can use it. You're quite right that anything with wireless N will suffice quite nicely.

Do you reccomend any specific routers with an Ethernet in and can port forward? I was thinking the WD MyNet N900 cause it has 2 usb and 8 ethernet ports out. and our at&t router has 4 ports and is full as cable boxes have to be directly connected to the router without a ethernet switch.

Any 'unmanaged'/'dumb' switch will work find as an add-on. The router won't really tell if there's a switch since it forwards Layer 2 traffic blindly. If you're worried, try grab one off a friend or find one real cheap off craigslist or something.

As far as the WD N900 goes, probably a good choice.
