Hey all.

I have 2 question reguarding the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo.

I have kinda settled for this product, and in addition im getting some Corsair Air Series AF120 Performance Edition fans

for my new rig, that is build in a vengeance c70 case

My first question if as follows.

Would there be any difference in changing the stock fan on the evo 212 with a Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance (Static Pressure) ???

My second question if as follows.

And the second question, would I benefit from push pull configuration on the evo 212?

Best regards, and a good day

Nicolai

If you go with the AF120, you'd definitely benefit from a push pull. But for CPU cooling, static pressure fans are the way to go, and they generally do not need a push pull. If you are aiming for performance over aesthetics, I'd recommend a Noctua NF-F12 fan.

That series from Corsair performs very well, so go with that if you're going for a color scheme. Just be sure to stay under 4.4 Ghz with the Hyper 212 Evo. If you want to try to aim higher, monitor your temps closely. But it's a very decent cooler for the price.

Caution regarding SP120 - i own a pair of the SP120's PE (like you have just ordered) - but no longer use them because they are quite noisy. I use phanteks fans now ~

You might want to consider using the 7V adapters they come with. Using a push pull config will (ideally) accomodate for any loss in performance you may notice in stepping your RPM down to 1750 instead of 2200.

I got a asus Fan xpert 2 and a Corsair Cooling link to turn down and mange my fans, so I should be good

Thank you for your comment

Air needs to go down on the heatsink.
