Building a Gaming PC (for ca. 1200€)

Hello guys,

I want to build a gaming PC, but I have no experience with the componets.

I've read a lot about the computer components and I made a short list with them. Could you please say, if this computer wouls be alright, and what would you change.

(I don't care about the internal look of the pc, because I don't want a window in the case.)

The PC:

218€ CPU https://bit.ly/2ie8Yww

54€ COOLER https://bit.ly/2drOBUJ

131€ MOBO https://bit.ly/2GVsBkq

329€ GPU https://bit.ly/2rBWm4o

178€ RAM https://bit.ly/2pkeBvl

122€ SSD https://bit.ly/2qZCIzg

128€ PSU https://bit.ly/2sPawON

68€ CASE https://bit.ly/2rzPu4c

What i'd advice you to get:

You should buy a gtx 1070 and a cheaper 650 bronze power supply. For the rest your build is looking mighty fine.

Also if you want to go that round you could probably get a gtx 980 ti for like 350 euros. I got my sli 980ti's for 300 each

PC specs:

I7 8700

1x 8gb Ballistix Elite 3200MHZ

MSI Gaming Trio RTX 2080

G650M PSU

120gb Kingston SSD

3TB of HDD

NZXT S340 elite Black/Red

Thanks for your anwser! I'll change the psu and the gpu. I thought 980 would be worse then 1060, because it has a lower number.

I meant a 980 ti it's a 2 year old card with the performance of a 1070. Some 1070s are going for mental prices like 700 euros so if you can get a good deal on 980 ti it's a great gpu for 1440p high/max.

There are no 980 ti in Germany :/ Or I  just can't find it. And 1070 costs around 500-600€

It is but the upgrade to a 1070 is definetly worth and sli is not recommended it's kinda unstable.

Also you can go for a non k i7 8700 wich in my country is as expensive as that I5.

For 1080p 60hz gaming the 1060 6gb is enough. You do not wanna do sli .. to be honest it quite sucks and can cause more trouble than good...

Yep but if you want to be able to use your gpu for longer and maybe go for 1440p the 1070 is definetly worth.

If you can save up for an i7 8700 and gtx 1070 but if you can't really save up more you should probs get the gtx 1070 and i5 if you want to game. If you want to video edit or do other productive things get a gtx 1060 6gb and an i7 8700. (It is still great for gaming tho)

Do not go for i7 8700... the 8600k beats it easily in gaming not worth the 50 more at all. The price of 1070 and 1070ti are almost identical... so why dont you gor e.g. for https://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/8GB-Gigabyte-GeForce-GTX-1070-Ti-Gaming-Aktiv-PCIe-3-0-x16--Retail-_1203530.html

I also want this peripherals:

438€ Monitor https://bit.ly/2uOeV4x

80€ Maus https://bit.ly/2qfgFnb

30€ Mauspad https://bit.ly/2qdNII9

149€ Tastatur https://bit.ly/2EFE59E (Keyboard)

140€ Kopfhörer https://bit.ly/2v19P9O (Headphones)

87€ Mikrofon https://bit.ly/2HnD1tX

Could you give me an cheaper alternative for microphone and headphones? I don't want a headset, because I don't want a poor quality microphone.

If you can't find an alternative with the same quality for the mic, ill just buy this one.

But i think the headphones costs a little bit too much for just gaming.

(I want a mic with the (idk how its called) table stativ. The mic that i linked does it have.

Nice build but for the sake of your components i recommend changing the psu for this one it is a little bit more expensive but should be more reliable https://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/550-Watt-Corsair-TX-M-Series-TX550M-Modular-80--Gold_1164494.html

If you want a lower priced PSU the PurePower 10 is a good psu.

Swap the Dark Rock 3 for a HR-02 or ninja 5/4 and maybe replace the fan with corsair ML, eloops, silent wings or Noctua.

In case you want to cut cost a bit more replace the ram with lower speed RAM. For Intel there is not much performance gain.

For the GPU get the cheapest 1070Ti and upgrade the cooler to a Arcitc Extrem III (around 20€ used, replacement fans cost 10€) or morpheus.

can you link me some guides how to replace the fans etc.

I do not know how to do that staff that you wrote :P

Only for a Ninja 4 a fan replacment is necessary. For the other it is optional. Replacing the FAN for the CPU cooler is simple: just mount the aftermarket fan and not the included when installing the cooler. http://www.thermalright.de/media/pdf/hr-02-install.pdf

For the GPU it is more complicated (it's sucks): http://support.arctic.ac/index.php?p=ax3&lang=en

If you do both the pc should be without OC running with 500 RPM on the fans and stay silent under full load.

thanks " :* "
