What Linux Distros are EFI bootable?

Hi! I have an old laptop I want to install Linux onto, but everytime I try to install a distro, it tells me that the USB has no UEFI boot option

 

I went and looked up many distros, only to see guides for UEFI enabled systems

 

My old laptop does not support UEFI, only EFI, and I was wondering if there were any EFI based Linux distros out there

What laptop is it and what distro did you try? There is no distinction between EFI and UEFI in any but the oldest versions.
