I am trying to put together a parts list for my first PC build.

1) I'm a Midwestern American, trying to keep a budget as low as possible (and definitely under $1000)

2) The system is going to be used for mainly meme web browsing. I do play Runescape, but I'm also looking into getting into CS:GO and Fallout.

3) I only plan on running a single monitor for the foreseeable future, but I wouldn't rule out a dual monitor setup in the future.

4)I'm going to need a new monitor, but I will look into a new keyboard and mouse in the near future (currently using Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse)

5) My reason for upgrading is my current daily driver is a Toshiba Satellite laptop that's 6 years old now. It's still functional, but it runs hot, the fan is noisy (bearing probably went bad), and the graphics drivers haven't had an update available in almost exactly 2 years now (Intel HD Graphics 4000, integrated graphics).

I've looked on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace, but there's nothing in my area, so I'm mostly looking at Newegg or Amazon, and here's the parts list I've compiled so far.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Ykccq4
Total as of right now, with all from Newegg, is $653.12

Including a GTX 1050 Ti, brings it up to $878.10

Do you think I'll be able to get by with integrated graphics (aiming for 1080P gaming) or should I hold off and upgrade later?

Also forgot to mention I do already have speakers I am happy with (Sharp bookshelf speakers I got about 4 years ago at a pawn shop on a real good deal, and they are still sounding great)

there is no iGPU on R7 CPUs (or R5, or R3)

I think what you have there is fine. TBH.  instead of the 1050ti, you might look on the used market for a 970 or a 480/580.

CSGO would be playable with the Integrated Graphics, and if your getting into fallout 4,it would do ok,but i recommend holding off and upgrading later, but if your leaning towards the integrated graphics solution,i suggest getting a better pair of ram sticks

What would you recommend? Are you suggesting 16GB or are you recommending a different brand?

a ryzen 1400/1500x would be cheaper but just as good as the 2400G, get that instead.

I would wait for Ryzen+ (2000 series) to come out as it may lower prices further on Ryzen (or be a reason to pick up a 2500 or 2600x), I agree that if you have the money for a dedicated GPU, it's a waste to get the 2400G.

I would also 2nd the idea that it's best GPU bang/buck to skip buying that 1050Ti and at the $200 level you can grab a nice GTX 970 off ebay that'll play CS:GO and Fallout 4 even better and have some GPU horsepower left to take on more than the 1050 would.

Otherwise for a 1st time build, that pcpartpicker list is solid and you found a nice balance between value and quality (like the PSU and case choices).
