Computer Ram usage high at idle

MY computers ram usage is at 9gb out of my 16 i have and there isnt anything running that takes up that much ram running im confused on why this is happening and if there are any tips about fixing this.

 

I am running windows 10 with a
msi z270 gaming M3 motherboard

I7-7700K CPU

GTX 970

16 gb ram

if you have a 970 then it means it's been a while since that PC was built. Most likely you built up a load of junkware, try reinstalling windows or looking up pc cleaning tips (software cleaning, but a hardware cleaning isn't a bad idea)

Go to task manager and have a look at the processes taking up memory space. If that doesn't show the program you have to have a look through performance monitor.

 

 Most likely some kind of bloatware as @YaqinHasan said.

Check the programs that start on startup in task manager. Disable anything that's not windows or drivers
