Alright sounds good I'll add a HDD and I'll downgrade to the 1700. Thanks!

Wait for ryzen 2 though or get a 8700k

Hi! I am building a streaming system that will be mainly streaming Dota 2 and various other games from time to time. I have a budget of 1,600 and currently my build sits at 1,582.60 with extra fans and led strips. With this being said I mainly want suggestions to make it better and to kind of verify I'm getting the best bang for my buck. For the CPU I went with the R7 1700x with a corsair h60 cooler, which I plan to OC. As for the gpu I went with a 1070 ti because of my current monitor, which runs 1080p@144Hz and between that and streaming I feel I should be able to take advantage of the performance of the gpu. I also plan to eventually upgrade to a 1440p monitor so the 1070 ti should do me well. So Should I stick to what I have or possibly go with a Intel 8th gen processor? I'm somewhat flexible with the budget but I wont go needlessly over without good cause.

Thanks for the help!

Wait for 2nd gen Ryzen. Also don't get the 1700X, it barely helps, just stick with the 1700.

You're going to need a bit more of storage than that...

An 8700k wouldn't be as upgrade able (Ryzen is said to be supported for 4+ years but who knows) but I would still highly recommend it for its good OC and better performance

dump the H60, they're performance is mediocre. get a 240gb MX500/ultra 3d instead of a 120gb mp500. that 1070ti's price is at $600, typical pcpp fuckup.
