Instagram search options

So i've been trying to look for the best tattoo artists in my state but the search has been complicated by instagram's apparent lack of enough search tools. For example, there are some instagram accounts that follow incredible tattoo artists and repost/share those artists' works. I wish i could go to these accounts that gather artists and look at the location of those they are following so that i could see if any of those artists live near me...

 

But i cant.. and hash tags such as #newyorktattoo are far too general and throw too much crap, it doesnt seem like i can search hash tags (like #dotwork for example) by location.

 

Anyone know of any software or whatever strategies that can give me more options? Any advice for my specific situation? Thanks.
