Ram cas latency

What difference will I experience if I HV 2 Rams of different cas latencies in my system??

Will it work?

Getting a deal on trident z cas 15 fr pretty cheap..

They will be set to the slowest value to sync if on auto (and will work), otherwise they would almost certainly be unstable if manually desynced

I currently hv 32gb ddr4 3200 ram in my rig...it is cas 16

I m planning to add another 32gb 3200 ram with cas 15

In a way you would notice not likely, ultimately CAS latency changes have a limited affect on real world applications, you might be able to see a slight difference in benchmarking software but ultimately its a minimal affect having more ram in your case will be far better than having faster ram.

 

It used to be that different rams would often have compatibility issue but that was mostly due to voltage differences not allowed on DDR4
