I’m building a PC in a couple months, I need some help on what to get for $1000 or less. I was looking at a 1050ti and a i5 7400 with 16gbs of RAM, should I keep these core components the way they are or should I change some things? Also what are some good budget cases/CPU coolers/motherboards for these parts? Thanks :)

Fr ur kind info....980ti's r currently going around fr $400-500...

U would be lucky if u find it below that price range....

I recently sold one of my 980ti fr about $500

Moreover...I HV lately seen that most of the used 980ti hitting the market r coming from mining rigs....so they r not worth it....at that price pt..

Moreover....OP cn wait fr the new generations of ryzen CPUs launching in this month.
