Hi

I'm looking to buy a 10 Bit monitor probably 60hz to use with the Adobe suit for drawing and editing I have found a monitor on amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0737M9QP7/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1522922232&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=10%2Bbit%2Bmonitor&dpPl=1&dpID=51gHIgRQuzL&ref=plSrch&th=1&psc=1 which I am tempted to buy ( maybe two) I would be also using this for gaming as well. I will be pairing it with a 1060 gb I wanted to know if this is capable? And is there a big difference from this monitor to a 1080p one?

Thanks for the help

1440p with a 1060 isn't that great tbh (medium settings will yield 60fps no issue), but it will be a significantly nicer resolution at that size to get work done.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

re gaming it depends on what games you play, and what FPS you want to achieve?

Also the rest of your rig is significant so let us know your CPU and RAM.

When I tested I generally found going to 1440p from 1080p cost aprox 5-15fps in most games.

CPU Intel i7 8700K @5Ghz Motherboard ROG Maximus Hero 10 RAM Corsair Vengeance 32GB 3600MHz

GPU MSI Gaming X 1080ti Case Thermaltake Core P3  Storage SSD Boot plus Samsung 960 Evo M.2 nvme storage

PSU Corsair RM750W Gold Display Asus ROG Strix XG32VQ 144Hz 1440p Cooling Corsair H100i V2

Would prefer to get 60 but maybe a push. I'm probably going to buy a i5 8500 or Ryzen 5 1600 but  I have 16gb DDR4 I haven't bought the parts yet as I wanted to know about the monitor situation I'll be playing rts games and aaa games

Re GPU def get the 6GB version.

Regarding the CPU I would go with as fast as possible i5 and you'll be golden.
