Help with CPU, GPU and PSU

Hello everyone, I bought an entry level gaming desktop.
Would an i5-8600k be compatible with the msi z77 mobo and would I need to change the power supply?

What ram would you recommend that is 16GB or should I leave the ram?

Thanks for the help.

Specs:
Cpu: i5 3570k
Mobo: msi z77 mpower
Memory: 16 gig gskill 1600 ram
Gpu: gigabyte windforce gtx 960 4 gig ddr5
Psu: antec 550w 80plus gold
Hdd: 1 tb samsung 7200rpm

No it would not be compatible as the 8th gen core processors require the 300 series chipsets. In order to get that CPU you would need to get a new mobo under the 300 series chipset and DDR4 memory. I dont think you will need to upgrade your PSU but if you plan to OC or SLI then I would. otherwise it should be fine

No.  A third generation motherboard is not compatible, not even physically, with an 8th generation chip.
