This will be my 3rd pc build so still a noob but I know what to do.

I have around a £1700 ($2400) budget for this build (not including already purchased parts) and am looking for a good PC for streaming all types of games.

I already have the case I want  (Corsair Crystal 570x) and PSU (RM650x) as well as drives.

This is the PC I was planning to build: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/zhngw6

If you have any suggestions or improvements that could be made that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you can afford it, more RAM, 32 gigs preferably.  It may seem like overkill but it's better to have some memory left to spare rather than being a bit limited.

8700K and 1080ti.  About as good as it gets right now.  Make sure you have an SSD for your OS.

Not necessary exactly, but as somebody that's still using just an old mechanical drive, it would definitely be nice to have.

yeah good idea but with ram prices where they are right now double the ram would put the pricing over 400 which im not really comfortable doing probably just upgrade down the line when the prices come down but thanks!

was looking at the 7800x instead for the improved multi-core performance but most places I've looked have put the 8700k at better single core (obviously) and near on if not slightly better multi-core as well

Yeah, the 8700k is the best for the least, at least on Intel's side, I'd put my money of the r5 1600 for the AMD side.

This Gigabyte 1080 ti is £100 cheaper. Paying nearly £900 for a 1080 ti is just crazy.

I would even consider the Zotac 1080 ti Mini although it isn't as good as the Asus or Gigabyte. It is only £689.99 at the moment though so priced pretty well for a high end gpu.

What monitor are you going to be using ? as you might be better off buying a lower end gpu for now and then waiting for the next Nvidia gpu's to release this year.

A 1080 ti would probably be overkill for that resolution as It is more suited to 1440p/ 144Hz-165Hz or 4K.  A GTX 1070 would be enough for 1080p/144Hz.

True, but id rather get the best there is now and then upgrade my monitor later as thats cheaper than a new GPU. Also means ill have more longevity with this setup

I know what you mean but the 1080 ti will be wasted somewhat with that screen. If you look at reviews of a 1080 ti at 1080p then some games will easily push past that 144Hz refresh rate. Not trying to put you off or anything if that is what you want.

Another option would be to go with something like a GTX 1060 and then wait for the next gen Nvidia/AMD gpu's to arrive and upgrade the gpu/monitor then. Obviously if your mind is set on a 1080 ti then don't let me stop you :D
