Am3 mobo cpu upgrade

I have an AM3 slot mobo with

Phenom ii 6x 1055t

8g DDR3

Glycol cooling

GeForce 960 

850w power

1t HDD blue

What can I do to make this better without getting a motherboard from this decade.

specifically, what motherboard do you have? Honestly, anything that old from AMD is really not worth the money to upgrade too as its not going to be that good long term...

Not much TBH, the video card, ram, etc are pretty good as it stands, and the 6-core CPU is about as good as it got for that era. If you're up for it, you can buy a SSD and install games and OS on that, the system will feel much more responsive, but gameplay with be the same as you are no improving that.

In order to benefit from an upgrade you have got to change the ram, mobo and cpu, if you wanna stay with amd than i'd recommend  a R5 1400 and a B350 mobo and 8GB DDR4 ram in dual channel.

The end of the line is the X6 1100T, but boards with crappy power delivery don't typically work with it. Full motherboard name/model please.

Well you could switch you mob and Cpu and go for a second hand intel platform witch takes ddr3 ram.
