Raspberry pi 3 B+ Case compatible?

Is the new Raspberry Pi 3 B+ compatible with older generation cases? I can't find much information about this.

 

This is the case I would buy for it but I'm not sure if it will fit

It's the same size as the old 3b.  The only difference is a few chips on the board in different locations.  If you buy a heat sink for the CPU you won't be able to close the lid on some cases.  FYI.

Not necessary.  They do keep the CPU cooler and you can OC the CPU if you want too, but at stock CPU speeds they are not required.

i say it is already necessary on a regular pi 3 - my pi 3 crashed a lot until i added a heatsink and fan.

 

given that the pi 3 B+ clocks even higher, i would not let a pi 3 do any heavy lifting for extended time without it.
